Downloading/Playing SMU Torrents

I tried downloading the mkv player thing and bit torrent from your public downloads page but still cant view the episodes...what programs do I need exactly to be able to view the episodes? I havent seen them but really want to the youtube previews look so awesome.

Many people try to play the .torrent file. Are you sure you actually downloaded the .mkv file? If not, you need to run the torrent through a BitTorrent client that will actually download the file 250 MB+ files.

If so, VLC Player is supposed to work right away without the need of added codecs.

hey, my video productions teacher was interested in viewing the episodes but he has an imac computer and uses the apple software. the vlc media player dosnt work on the macs or with that apple program. does anyone know of a player i could download for him so he can watch the episodes?

I'm actually using my Mac right now and VLC Player works. You have to download the MAC version of the program and then drag it into your applications folder.
